  • Group the doors in the door schedule by Level and Type
    • Open the door schedule
    • Adjust the schedule properties to sort by level and then by family and type
    • Include a footer at each sort level to display the number of doors included in each group
    • When you have completed this step, your schedule view should look like this:

  • Group the windows in the window schedule by Level and Type
    • Open the window schedule
    • Adjust the schedule properties to sort by level and then by family and type
    • Add a new field to the schedule to display the count, then turn off the Itemize every instance check box on the sorting / grouping tab
    • Filter the schedule to exclude the skylights at the roof level
    • When you have completed this step, your schedule view should look like this:

  • Group the rooms in the room schedule by Level and total the area of the rooms at each level
    • Open the room schedule
    • Adjust the schedule properties to sort by level 
    • Include a footer at each sort level to display the area on that level
    • Include a grand total line to display the total area in the building
    • Select the area field on the formatting tab, choose to calculate totals for this field
    • When you have completed this step, your schedule view should look like this:
