- Create a calculated field to display the glazing area of each window type
- Open the window schedule
- Create a new calculated value field call Glazing area of type Area
- Use the formula Height * Width
- Add a grand total line to summarize the total glazing area in the building
- Open the window schedule
- Include a grand total line to display the total glazing area in the building
- Select the Glazing Area field on the formatting tab, choose to calculate totals for this field
When you have completed this exercise, your schedule view should look like this:
