Divergent Thinking (How Might We?)

Journal Entry For
Project 2 - MVP Definition

How might we create a space to which people could go for a short period of time and feel recharged after that? How might we incentivize people to take a break in the middle of their hectic day and change their atmosphere? How might we incentivize employers to enable their employees to spend time in a recreational space, and even during the workday? How might we create a true recreational space in a dense and packed, urban environment? How might we make sure that recreational spaces don’t get too packed? How might we make sure that people don’t use their technology for work while they are spending time in the recreational space? How might we combine the visual, hearing, and touch senses to create a more impactful experience in a recreational space? How might we make sure that people feel excited to go to the recreational spaces we design? How might we minimize the amount of time it takes people to reach to the recreational space?

How might we keep the place clean and well taken care of?

How might we have staff to work there and help others with switching off?

How might we have both a quiet and cozy place but also one in the same space with music and a bar?

How might we design urban green spaces to promote both active and passive recreational activities?

How might we incorporate local flora and fauna to create urban green spaces that foster a connection with nature and promote biodiversity?

How might we design urban recreational green spaces to cater to all age groups and abilities? How might we create multifunctional green spaces that serve as recreational areas, community gathering spots, and educational platforms?

How might we use technology to enhance the experience and accessibility of urban recreational green spaces?

How might we design urban green spaces that can adapt to and mitigate the effects of climate change?

How might we integrate art and aesthetics into the design of urban green spaces to inspire creativity and enhance visual appeal?

How might we promote community involvement in the planning, design, and maintenance of urban recreational green spaces?

How might we implement sustainable practices in the development and management of urban recreational green spaces?

How might we incorporate health and wellness elements, such as workout zones or meditation gardens, into urban green spaces?
