For All students:
Image of Your Structural Frame Line Geometry
Image of Your Dynamo or Grasshopper Graph Nodes
The graph allows for customization of the frame structure including the:
- Building Base Length
- Building Base Width
- Frame Spacing
- Option 1: Number of Frames to Create
- Option 2: Maximum Spacing Between the Frames
- Purlin Spacing
- Right and Left Column Heights
- Top Offsets for the slanted columns
- Gable offset
- Horizontal Gable offset
The graph then creates the line and point model and utilizes Karamba3D nodes to create the beam model, assign and colorize different cross-sections, and visualize the model in the Rhino workspace. The Karamba3D node is also used to assign support conditions in case a designer would like to assign loads and run the analysis of the model.

Paste a screenshot showing the structural framing elements created from your Line geometry:
The figures below have the same input number of frames, spacing, roof bays for purlin spacing, etc. The only differences are the unique properties to each roof type.
