Description

My proposed design revolves around the optimization of space as it features an open concept floor plan. Considering the space is significantly small (500 sq.ft. — 25’x20’), I had to sharpen my creativity and shuffle around components to ensure the space was not too crammed and remained ADA-compliant. The standard roof facilitates temperature regulation and facilitated the placement of PV panels and skylights.

To enhance energy conservation measures, I implemented PV panels and included many windows throughout the building, as well as skylights for natural lighting and mental health benefits. Overall, the configuration promotes an interactive environment for the researchers.
