Paste an image of your Dynamo or Grasshopper Graph showing all your nodes and the connecting logic.
This dynamo model is designed to construct a user-specified frame roof, allowing users to choose between two roof alternatives and design their own frame. The model comes with two roof options: a flat/shed roof and a gable roof. The input variables for both roof options are listed below:
for flat/shed roof:
-top offset at left
-top offset at right
-frame column height at left
-frame column height at right
for gable roof:
-roof left side percentage (50% for symmetrical gable roof)
-roof offset height
Users can either import dimensions from an existing Revit mass form or enter their own values for the frame dimensions. The Dynamo model has included number sliders that allow users to enter values for:
-building base length
-building base width
-building height
Once the framing lines for different structural elements are created, users can choose the framing types for each of them and place them in a Revit building model. By using "Element.GetParameterByName" node, we are able to get the volume for each of the elements and compute their total weight.
For 3 or 4 units:
Image of Your Structural Framing Elements Model
Paste a screenshot showing the structural framing elements created from your Line geometry:
- If modeling using Revit, paste an image of the Revit model showing the structural framing elements created using your Dynamo logic.
- If modeling using Rhino/Grasshopper, paste an image of the Karamba 3D model displaying structural members selected.
For 4 units:
