When it comes to sustainability
What do you care most about when it comes to sustainability and the environment?
- She cares about the rising sea levels because of the melting ice caps. "We learned about climate change in Chemistry class and it was devastating to see what our earth will look like if temperatures continue to rise at this current rate."
What are you doing now to be more environmentally conscience?
- "I have been trying to educate myself further on humans' negative impact on climate change and how we can individually work to improve the status of our planet." She also always disposes of waste in the current bins to promote reducing, reusing, and recycling.
What do you do to improve your carbon footprint?
- "I try my best to reduce my carbon footprint by carpooling with one of my friends because I know carbon emission is the reason temperatures have risen so much."
Any reservations / concerns about sustainability?
- "It worries me to see our planet continue to die in the hands of humans because we are the reason for climate change. Many people don't want to admit it but, we caused ice caps to melt, sea levels to rise, the depletion of the ozone, and climate change in general so, we need to work to fix it."
