Description of the Process:
The first model I created was a simple twisting tower from the library. I edited the tower and logged the surface area for each of the rotations on excel. The Second tower was a lot more complex. The triangles were very hard to navigate when running the code in Dynamo. I tried 3 different variations of changing the form of the mid and top heights. The form at the end (the one listed here) was the last one I tried by just changing the top form. There were some inconsistencies when running the numbers for the surface area. Like Revit couldn’t make 2 lofts when the building was dancing which was interesting. If I had more time I would have gone back and made a new form, maybe one off of the web as an inspiration and modeled it and have a greater rotation.
