My basic stratrgy involved creating grids that optimally ran the length of the building, while framing both staircases. Where I made mistakes was overdoing the amount of structural comlumns in the building resulting in many beams within the interior of the building. If I were to do it again I would focus on placing beams in the exterior walls first and adding additional beams as needed, instead of adding all columns at once. I think the the overkill strucutral support system would be unattractive, unpractical, and expensive.
