Structural Framing Recommendations

For my structural model, I wanted to prioritize strength and symmetry. Due to the size of the building, I chose a steel beam system with a maximum span of 50’ with W12x26 beams. My beam systems utilized slightly smaller beams so that they did not seem too clunky (W8x10). I edited individual systems to make sure the floor openings stayed open. This involved moving certain columns away from the original grid system, but it ultimately yielded the results I was looking for.
