I encountered difficulties in designing the areas where supply and exhaust ducts cross. To maintain the aesthetic goal of concealing ducts within the ceiling, these crossing points resulted in lower ceiling heights, which could impact spatial quality. Additionally, there were frequent interferences with the steel structure, requiring careful adjustments to avoid conflicts.
My proposed design generally meets the project's spatial design goals, but optimizing duct routing and ceiling height adjustments will be necessary to enhance user experience.
To improve sustainability and reduce heating and cooling loads, I recommend optimizing duct layout to minimize unnecessary bends and pressure losses, incorporating better insulation for ducts, and leveraging natural ventilation where feasible.
