- Power system elements
- Lighting system elements
For the power system, I began by mapping out power receptacle placements based on anticipated user needs and accessibility requirements. I positioned outlets along perimeter walls at regular intervals, with additional receptacles near workstations and interactive exhibit areas to accommodate user engagement with digital displays. In spaces requiring flexibility, such as multi-use classrooms, I considered floor outlets to minimize cord clutter.
To organize power distribution efficiently, I assigned power circuits based on functional zoning. High-energy-use areas, such as exhibit halls and interactive learning spaces, were given dedicated circuits to prevent overloading.
I placed troffer ceiling elements which connected to each other & light switches at doors and second switches at further walls of bigger rooms. They connect to a separate panel from the power receptacles.
