Hi everyone! I’m a senior in Earth Systems and a first-quarter coterm in Sustainable Design & Construction. My academic background on the Human Environmental Systems track focused on the implication of earth systems science on environmental policy and economics, and I’m interested in how environmental systems thinking can be utilized to enhance the design process for public infrastructure. I worked at an ecological consulting and design firm this past summer and was fascinated by the analytic nature of the design team in projects like wastewater treatment wetlands and revegetation plans. I’m familiar with Rhino from an architectural design class a few years ago but not as experienced in Revit, and I’m really excited to learn about all of its design capabilities and gain some parametric design experience!
