My model is a 2 story addition with a rooftop garden/pavilion. The first and second floor are covered with glazing panels, which adds to a modern-take on the original building's facade. Deliberate steps were taken to mesh the aesthetics of the addition to the existing building, as seen in the red roof pavilion, support beams, and stone walls. On the first floor, there is a maker space along with a large open space for indoor dining and a cafe. The stairwell/elevator is located in the connecting hallway. On the second floor, there's a large social space for gathering and a partioned wall that acts as a gallery wall/hallway for presenting student work. The green space on the third level adds yet another social space for gathering, eating, and presenting student work outdoors.
