Description
For my project, I designed a modern extension to the existing engineering building that incorporates both functionality and a forward-thinking aesthetic. The new section features a bold orange-tiled roof and an open facade with large windows to promote natural light and collaboration. I focused on creating a seamless connection between the new and existing structures, ensuring the design supports the university’s goal of fostering innovation and community. The extension includes multi-level spaces for group meetings, maker spaces, and a café, catering to the diverse needs of students. Overall, my design balances contemporary elements with the classical style of the original building while prioritizing usability and creativity.
