- No, including all elements in the model is not necessary. We should focus on the major details of constructions, for example structural elements like floors, columns, foundations, framings. Including too many details will affect the interpretation of the simulation.
How can the feedback shown in a 4D simulation help you to optimize the project schedule?
- What are the main benefits of linking model elements to the project schedule?
- Linking model elements to project schedule helps to understand work flow, identify potential critical paths in construction, improve coordination, and manage resources availability and materials delivery.

How can designers improve their designs using the information provided by preliminary estimates of the cost of building their design ideas?
Designers can improve their designs by using the information to evaluate different material use and building options optimize cost saving, and to ensure the project stay within budgets.
