Description

My model is a 9 floor office building with a steel based framework. There are beams and a beam support system to ensure the stability of the floors in my proposal on all 9 floors. Vertically there are steel beams, along with retaining walls (for the staircases) all with the proper foundations. Along the perimeter of my building I decided to place the vertical steel beams strategically so that there could be support around the entire building. The roof structure allows for access, which means it can be used if need be, but will also have the space to place solar panels to power the building. There is plenty of interior space, along with the open space in the front of the building which can act as a lobby for the company. Overall this building was built structurally sound, ability to be solar powered and spacious in order to create the best work environment possible.
