D. T. Suzuki Museum
The D. T. Suzuki Museum has a big open space outside of the main building, which shows one of the tenets of Buddhism. There is a small pavilion located within a shallow pool. The shallow water produces an atmosphere of silence that allows us to reflect ourselves. Reflecting upon this example, it becomes apparent that the incorporation of a waterfront can imbue a space with a serene atmosphere, particularly when the water is static.
Tokyo SKYTREE
Tokyo SKYTREE has an incredible viewing platform at middle of the tower. To access it, visitors go through a long incline that encircles the tower’s mast. It is facilitated with a large, curved curtain wall that amplifies visitors’ desire to see the picturesque vista from the main viewing place.
