Description
This design is meant for a local biological reserve. It utilizes double-glazed curtain walls with operable windows to allow in ample daylighting and ventilation when needed. The 2x6 framing and concrete slab provide proper insulation and thermal massing for colder nightly temperatures. The relatively flat roofs provide exposure to the sun which is perfect for PV panels. The space also features a wide open workspace, a lounge, meeting area, bathroom, and storage area. Additionally, there’s a small courtyard space and outdoor seating arrangements.
