Being able to catch the eye of any passerby is really important to start the experience. That is why I loved the Guggenheim museum in Bilbao. The architecture of the building makes it attractive to someone who is about to get in it.

What also makes an exhibition space great is how the space is used to highlight what is being exposed. I have recently been to Les Bassins de lumières in Bordeaux. An old submarine base is being used to present art in a sound and light show using reflection on the water to make it even more outstanding.
