Description
My proposed design is a simple, wood-frame, small field research station that provides a workspace for the student researchers at the local biological reserve. This research station is about 500 SF – just enough space to hold a storage room, a meeting room and an open lab. There will not be a need for active heating or cooling, as it has lots of operable south-facing windows to capture the light and heat as well as photovoltaic panels facing south for maximum efficiency.
