This design features a compact yet efficient layout for functionality and sustainability. The building includes 2x6 stud walls with R-19 insulation and a 6" concrete slab foundation, offering durability and thermal comfort. South-facing operable windows provide natural light and ventilation, complemented by a clerestory window on the north wall. A central lab/meeting area connects an open workspace to support flexible use, while a restroom and storage room are strategically placed on the north side with a small hallway between them for privacy and accessibility. Entrances on both the east and west sides ensure smooth circulation, and interior partitions define clear zones without compromising openness. The roof features wood rafters with a 1' overhang and a designated photovoltaic panel array, promoting energy efficiency. Furnishings include desks, a central meeting table, lab benches, and essential plumbing fixtures, all laid out with ADA compliance in mind.
