My design is 500 square feet (25 feet by 20 feet) and uses a simple rectangular layout to organize all the required elements. The roof is a sloped gable roof where you can easily mount the photovoltaic panels. You enter into a hallway with access to a roughly 80 square foot storage room to your left and an ADA compliant bathroom on your right. In the central south facing room after the short hallway are three desks with ample room to move around on the left, a small meeting area in the center, and the lab bench for instruments and a small sink on the right. Windows in this space let light into the research station.
