Description
The model is a rendering of a Lennar - Monte Carlo model home in my neighborhood in Fort Myers, Florida. It has the same floor plan and similar design features, including the PV system and exterior wall paneling. Some aspects of the model home’s design that I deviated from included adding an outdoor terrace to the front side of the house, adding many additional windows, and making the windows larger (with some of them being bay windows). I paid attention to the house’s orientation, with the back of the housing facing southwards for daylighting and excellent sunset views from the backyard (just like at home). If I were to change or improve anything in this design, it would be to modify the roof (number of pitches and the height).
