Description
My vacation house is designed to include features that will make the residents appreciate their surroundings and make the most out of the natural resources around them no matter what time of the year they visit! The design includes south-facing curtain glass walls to optimize the amount of natural sunlight that not only provides sustainable heating to the building during the winter, but also serves as natural lighting. Additionally, the building features a large terrace that includes benches/tables to eat at, seats to admire the view, etc.! The roof is slanted away from this patio so that snow during the winter can fall away from that side. Additionally, the land in front of the building is excavated to make way for a driveway that can support 1 car at a time.
