Description
The proposed extension to the original project would keep the spirit of the existing structure intact while also enhancing common areas for students. The space features multiple meeting spaces and work offices for students to use. Additionally, the extension has a spacious maker space, student art gallery, and lounges. There are also terraces to allow views out onto the campus and natural daylighting into the building. The main space houses a cafe and dining area and uses extensive curtain walls and a double height space to create an open space. Finally, there’s a connection from the extension to the original to maintain a seamless spatial experience.
