Your Recommendation for the “Best” Design Option

Enter a brief paragraph (5 to 7 sentences) outlining a brief explanation of why you chose this design option as the “best” after comparing your analyses of the proposals…

I selected this design option as the best because it features a bold configuration with a central shaft in the lower commercial zone, connected to the upper structure by four columns. The uppermost level of the lower portion receives minimal direct sunlight, allowing comfortable outdoor experiences even during the summer. The extent of surrounding shadows is similar across all three proposals, and the influence of wind around the building is relatively low. Considering these factors, I prioritized the advantage of incorporating shaded areas within the building itself over minor differences in external sun and wind exposure. Therefore, I chose Proposal 2 as the optimal design.
