Your Recommendation for the “Best” Design Option

Enter a brief paragraph (5 to 7 sentences) outlining a brief explanation of why you chose this design option as the “best” after comparing your analyses of the proposals…

After comparing the three design proposals, I chose Proposal 3 as the best option because it balances spatial efficiency, natural light access, and noise mitigation most effectively. The L-shaped form creates a protected courtyard space that encourages social interaction and collaboration. Its orientation helps shield the central outdoor area from surrounding street noise, as indicated by the lower dB readings in the interior zones. Additionally, the stepped massing allows for better daylight penetration into interior spaces, reducing the need for artificial lighting. The design also integrates well with the existing urban context, maintaining visual connectivity while offering a distinctive yet functional architectural form.
