Your Recommendation for the “Best” Design Option
I chose Proposal because given the heat in Pheonix, the need to eliminate sun hours and daylight and create ample shaded area is crucial. The noise reduction from this proposal is not the best given the low heights of buildings in Pheonix, but none of my proposals proved to solve the noise reduction issue. The ring-link nature of these buildings at least allows the interior facades to get some shade during the day and year. This shape also allows the courtyard to be a little less noisy. I would like to add corridors on the ground level to allow access to the courtyard from the exterior of the building.
