Your Recommendation for the “Best” Design Option
Out of my 3 proposals, the ideal proposal is proposal #3. In the sun hours analysis, proposal 1 shows a large area that will receive a very small amount of sun throughout the day, which is not an ideal design. Proposals 2 and 3 show similar areas that will not have a lot of sun throughout the day, but proposal 3 displays these areas to be in the lower floors and small corner areas of the design, whereas proposal 2 displays the side of the building spanning multiple floors to be an issue with the sun hours. Since proposal 2 and 3 have similar daylight potential, the decision was made with the sun hours analysis and the noise analysis. All 3 proposals have very similar noise analyses, but proposal 3 pulled ahead of the other 2 with a larger amount of yellow and green displayed in the comparison.
