Your Recommendation for the “Best” Design Option
After comparing my different proposals, I determined that proposal 3 was the “best” design. Focusing on sun hours analysis, this structure provided a middle-of-the-ground design, with several areas having plenty of sun throughout the day, while other areas provided more cooling. The functionality of this design also takes advantage of several areas with shading that could be used as netural or green spaces. When looking at a noise analysis of the design for proposal 3, there existed several areas with very lower noise throughout the day, especially as the elevation increased. While proposals 1-2 provided sleek designs, proposal 3 added height that resulted in a more quiet setting, similar to the profile of around it.
