Description
This is the structural model which features a multi-story steel frame arranged in an L-shaped configuration. I focused on using a clean and consistent grid of beams and columns so the load paths are straightforward and the structure is easy to build. The repeating bay system keeps the layout efficient and gives the interior a lot of flexibility. I kept the floor heights uniform and aligned the columns carefully to maintain a simple, predictable structural rhythm. The shift at the corner helps break up the long elevation and gives the building a bit more character. Overall, my goal with this model was to create a clear, stable, and practical structural system while still keeping the design visually coherent.
