Hana Thibault

Hi all! My name is Hana and I am a first-year master’s student in the Civil and Environmental Engineering department who is focusing on Structural Engineering. I graduated from Duke in North Carolina with my bachelors last fall and have loved getting to explore the west coast. I have done a few internships at various structural firms which mostly focused on designing steel and concrete structures. I am interested in this course because Rhino and Grasshopper are very valuable tools in industry and I want to learn how to use them to better optimize the structures I design. My goal of the course is to, at the end, have a basic working understanding of both grasshopper and Rhino and be able to use them to interface with other design/build software.
