Testing Session 1

You are a student at Stanford. You are starving. Like ravenous. You go to Panda Express in Tresidder’s, but you are in a hurry. Go order your dish now!

  • Give them little time
  • See what they get right (entree vs side)
  • See how fast they complete the order

How easy is it to find the items you want to order? What is a way you can see all the ordering items at once?

Was the assembly process fun? Would you prefer it over a regular line?

How would you speed up this process?

Note 1: 8 sec Eric

5/10 - easiness of ordering

Correct

Staircase pattern - stock up

Yes, assembly was fun - no preference

Note 2: 15 sec Rowan

8/10

Took everything out

Only easy after saw what was available

Pictures helped a lot

Multiples lanes for taking

Novelty was fun

Make items easier to see and to assemble

Note 3: Martina

4/10

Hurry - not as fun - but not hurried would be a really fun board game

Innovative, but seems like the same system as a lot of other restaurants (seafood restaurant whose name I forgot)

Easiness of ordering/feasibility is questionable

Note 4: Rawda

7/10

Put everything in the right order (entree, side, etc.)

Fun!

pretty easy, just need a way to display everything at once

Note 5: Nick

9/10

Very innovative!

Use a grid format instead for storing all items? Shows everything at once

Much more fun to assemble rather than waiting in line
