Key Findings from the Interview
- Shops online maybe once every other month, mostly for products he needs in the dorm (i.e., computer monitor setup, decor). These purchases typically range from 5-7 items, which he thinks about before hand to determine if he really needs/what product he actually wants.
- Sam does not buy clothes a lot because he already “has clothes.” He estimates that he hasn’t bought clothes for himself in over a year. He sometimes gets pieces gifted from his girlfriend.
- If he does shop for clothes, he does it in person. He mostly thrifts, and decides on pieces based on how they look/somewhat how they fit. He will also buy from Zara, but rarely, and only if he really needs it.
