My proposed field research station is a Z-shape building with big windows facing the south side to capture light and heat. In order to be more sustainable and environmentally friendly, it is noticeable that the roof on the top of the bathroom and storage room has a high slope to place solar panels for electricity use. There is a skylight window, but no other windows are set for the storage room because we want to keep the temperature low for some biological samples. An ADA-compliant bathroom was built with a clear space for wheelchairs to turn around. When we enter the research station, there is a meeting area and three individual work desks for scientists.
