Description

This design was inspired in Heydar Aliyev Center's architecture from Zaha Hadid and it is meant to be a shelter for exhibitions or music performances. Its wave opening in the center and on both sides of the structure allows for good natural lightning and ventilation, while protecting from the rain and direct sunlight.

It was modeled with a sine wave on the front that can be modified amplifying the wave or increasing/decreasing the number of waves. Also the 3 main curves are set with a slider and geometry translate to be able to modify the slope and direction of the lines in the 3 axis.

To change the sine wave to a different curve, we just have to disconnect the old curve and connect the new one to the code shown below. I had two sine waves in the structure and had a list of 4 curves but for the purpose of this assignment I just used 3 (could not find 4 points adaptive components besides the trusses).

There is a slider for the number of beams/ribs in the shelter so that it can be easily modified, whether it is adding or decreasing the number of beams, conditioning the size of the panels. The structural elements (beams/ribs) and the panels can also be switched for any of the 3-points adaptive components from the list below.
