Project 1 - MVP Definition

PoV

💡
MICHAEL needs to UNDERSTAND THE SCALE OF UTILITY of TILD and why would people care about the utility TILD provides i.e. what return does the user get besides a few dollars at the cost of sacrificing driving and personal freedom

Minimum Viable Product (MVP)

💡
Define the simplest version of this product that delivers value and meets the challenges of this POV statement will have these essential features.
  • Feature 1 - simple UI on the TILD app with minimal buttons and distractions with core functionality of turning ON or OFF, tracking distances driven and emissions produced (day, week, month, year)
  • Feature 2 - ability to enter any car through a linked online database of all North American cars and car variants or trims. For each car, the emissions per mile or km are recorded and saved on the backend to calculate net emissions
  • Feature 3 - all data should be shareable and trackable across multiple devices, Android or iOS platforms, and be encrypted for ‘Game Competition’ with local TILD users to secure awards for driving less
  • Feature 4 - TILD must be devoid of false negative or positives, must detect and differentiate driving from other modes of transport (cycle, walk, run, bus, train, flying etc), and be secure and private
  • Feature 5 - the app must manage notifications and game competition or efficient driving suggestions (to urge less driving) in a non-intrusive and pleasant way
