Plumbing Challenges/Lessons

  • I learned the lesson in Building 1 that stacking bathrooms can make designing (and constructing in the long run) more efficient and easier. This is one of the lessons I learned throughout this design process - repeatability where possible (especially for the building systems)
  • Finding enough space to connect the fixtures to the branches, especially when there was a urinal on the other side of the middle wall to a wall mounted water closet. This proved to be a bit tricky.
  • Finding more space to increase the restroom size.
    • I think I generally undersized my restrooms and definitely will take this as a lesson to move forward with.
