Design Journal Entry - Module 10

I ran into some challenges with this module, primarily not having enough space in between my walls to accomodate the plumbing systems. To remedy this, I went back into my architectural model and moved the walls farther apart and created a small plumbing mechanical room in each bathroom.

A key feature of my plumbing design is the toilets and sinks on opposite sides of the bathroom. This also presented a challenge as I had to route the cold and sewage lines in 3 directions. In hindsight I would have routed the pipes the other way so that the pipes wouldn’t block the door, a mistake I will fix for the final iteration
