"because if I value a product, I will value the company. I value stuff that is useful to me and that I frequently use without having to repurchase it"

• What makes a product or service sustainable? What can the product designer do to make their product more sustainable?

"They can think of an idea that can be used for a long time and won't be outdated. They should consider the environment and the effects their product or service will have on the environment"

• What are some sustainable products and services you currently use? do they have any cons or inconveniences?

"iPhone, reusable bottles. Cons of iPhone: factories that make the iPhones give off lots of carbon and it requires lots of resources. If anything is wrong with hardware it's expensive to fix and people just waste that phone. Cons for reusable bottles: If you drink stuff other than water, it's hard to clean. It is also more expensive to buy"

• How can an average person contribute to making the earth sustainable?

"people can use reusable items like plates, cups, glassware. They can learn where stuff actually belongs in the trash so stuff gets recycled accurately"

• What are some new decisions you will make to improve your carbon footprint?

"I will start drinking from reusable vessels. When going to school, I will walk instead of taking a car. I will plant more trees and plants to take out carbon from the air"

"Not exactly, because humans will have new opportunities to help build and perfect the tech in the new and greener planet"
