What are the principal advantages of creating a conceptual design model using masses before diving into the detailed design and building element modeling?
This allows you to create more abstract shapes. Furthermore, it allows you to design an entire structure at once - something that is beneficial when designing large structures. When using mass elements, you can conceptualize the entire building rather quickly and easily before hashing out the specific details.
