For my design of a vacation house on a hill, I wanted a strong implementation of windows especially on the south side (front) of the house to capture the scenery outside. On the first floor, the dinning room and living room have full curtain walls facing the amazing views. On the top floor, the master bedroom and one of the smaller bedrooms have 4 large windows the capture the sights along with access to a central balcony at the front. The roof is sloped in a way so that the most light and views can be observed from the front of the house—the slope is also a sharp contrast from the slope of the hill it sits on which gives a beautiful contemporary look from the sides.
