Mini Proposal 1
One of the most common ways of producing energy is by exertion of force. In the modern western society, there aren’t a lot of instances in which a person exerts significant amount of force. There is, however, one very popular place to which people go to with the intention of producing the biggest amount of force possible – which is the gym. A typical commercial gym is essentially like a mini power station, as tens of thousands of pounds are getting moved inside there every hour. However, this potential for producing energy isn’t tapped. Our team will focus on suggesting a smart configuration for the average gym in which capitalizes on the fact that weights are constantly being moved there, and so this potential can be converted into energy, which we predict that might be enough to self-sustain the electrical energy demands of the gym. Thus, this setup will help gyms to save on costs, as well as the planet.

Mini Proposal 3
Enter a 1-paragraph Mini Proposal (<300 words) that describes:
- Your Space
- One of the active recreational areas with a concerning effect on the environment are amusement parks. The amount of energy and fossil fuels burned to power various rides, attractions, lighting, shops, and restaurants in an amusement park creates tons of carbon emissions, toxic water flow, and clearing of productive land
- Your Community
- The community that would be helped form this upgrade of amusement parks would in general be everyone, but more so the specific people attending the amusement parks. By promoting both passive and active environmentally friendly behavior within them, we can reduce the carbon footprint.
- Your General Objective / Purpose
- The objective of this proposal is to fully flesh out an idea for a “green” amusement park in which the surfaces upon which the people walk are electricity-producing tiles, creating enough energy to power the rides and attractions. Due to the clearing of animals and plants to create such a vast recreation area, some places within the amusement parks can be catered to preserving such wildlife and vegetation, serving both as an environmental benefit and an attraction area. Additionally, the trash collection within the amusement parks can function in the form of an arcade, meaning that for every nth piece of trash thrown, people can log that to receive small prizes (stuffed animals, fidgets, etc). This would essentially improve energy production, preservation of natural habitats, and consciousness about waste.
