#1. How important is the environmental impact of cosmetics when choosing a product?

→ I care more about the function and ingredients of the product, but since sustainability is becoming such a big global issue these days, I do care about the process of how the product is made.

#2. Are there any particular ingredients or practices in the cosmetics industry that you consider to be unsustainable or harmful to the environment?

→ Using lots of plastics or non recyclable materials for packaging could be harmful to the environment.

#3. What barriers or challenges do you face in finding and purchasing sustainable cosmetics?

→ I think there aren't a lot of options in the market for sustainable cosmetics.

#4. Do you trust the claims made by cosmetic brands regarding their sustainability efforts? Why or why not?

→ It is hard to trust the claims if we don't directly see the process of it. However, I do try to trust them in somewhat matter because I'm pretty sure that they have put in some effort to acheive their certificate in sustainability.

#5. Are there any specific certifications or labels that you look for when buying sustainable cosmetics? Why?

→ I am not familiar with any kind of specific labels for sustainability, but sometimes I look for recyclable signs or vegan labels on the products.

#6. How do you balance your desire for sustainable cosmetics with other factors, such as price and effectiveness?

→ I always try my best to find a product that suits my needs the best in afforable price range.

#7. Are there any sustainable packaging practices that you consider important when it comes to cosmetic products?

→ I think it is crucial to not use plastics or any kind of non recyclable materials when it comes to packaging for cosmetic products.
