Design Journal Entry - Module 5/6

Basement:

I designed three interconnecting exhibition spaces to afford users the ability to arrange their events in a flexible manner. The central location of the patio within the building allows visitors to traverse through it and immerse themselves in nature for a relaxing experience. I placed a café and gift shop on the same floor to encourage visitors to pause, socialize, and explore unique shopping options.

Level1:

On this floor, I also included seminar rooms and dedicated areas for families with children. These spaces provide opportunities for parents and older children to participate in sustainability workshops, while younger children can learn about sustainable technologies.

Level2:

The second level houses two conference rooms and an open office. The open office serves as an ideal location for conference participants to prepare materials or perform work both prior to and following the conference.
