• Targets:

• Desired: 40% of materials from recycled or rapidly renewable sources
• Strategies:
• Source certified sustainable timber and low-carbon concrete alternatives.
• Incorporate modular prefabricated components to reduce construction waste

Goal 2: Constructability

• Measure: Material usage efficiency (% of waste reduction)
• Targets:
• Minimally acceptable: 10% reduction in material waste
• Desired: 25% reduction through optimized construction techniques
• Strategies:
1. Use BIM to plan material quantities precisely.
2. Incorporate prefabricated wall panels and flooring systems.

Goal 3: Usability

• Measure: Indoor environmental quality based on user feedback surveys
• Targets:
• Minimally acceptable: 80% occupant satisfaction
• Desired: 95% occupant satisfaction with thermal, acoustic, and lighting comfort
• Strategies:
1. Install operable windows and ceiling fans for occupant control over ventilation.
2. Incorporate zoned lighting systems with tunable LED fixtures for adaptability.

Goal 4: Indoor Air Quality

• Measure: Particulate matter daylight access percentage
• Targets:
• PM2.5 concentration: 12 µg/m³ or lower
• PM2.5 concentration: 5 µg/m³ or lower
• Strategies:
1. Install advanced air filtration systems and optimize ventilation.
2. Utilize many plants and green areas to naturally filter air.
