  • Targets:
    • Minimally acceptable: 20% of materials from recycled sources
    • Desired: 40% of materials from recycled or rapidly renewable sources
  • Strategies:
    • Source certified sustainable timber and low-carbon concrete alternatives.
    • Incorporate modular prefabricated components to reduce construction waste

Goal 2: Constructability

  • Measure: Material usage efficiency (% of waste reduction)
  • Targets:
    • Minimally acceptable: 10% reduction in material waste
    • Desired: 25% reduction through optimized construction techniques
  • Strategies:
    1. Use BIM to plan material quantities precisely.
    2. Incorporate prefabricated wall panels and flooring systems.

Goal 3: Usability

  • Measure: Indoor environmental quality based on user feedback surveys
