Windows on all side of the house maximizes the enjoyment of the views that nature has to offer. I am imagining a hillside location that overlooks the ocean on one side and the mountain on the other side, but wherever the view is, the plethora of window in this house will allow the inhabitants to enjoy everything! Since the lower level is blocked by the topography, the space is mainly used for storage and access to the better top half; the guest room on the bottom offers absolute escape from the fun above for the introverts with plenty of sitting space. The dining room, kitchen, and the living room are in an open, connected space for maximum socializing, TV watching, view enjoyment from any spot in the house. I enjoy open space a lot because even though there are plenty of furniture, the open space holds potential for furniture rearrangement as necessary. There are three rooms, but coming from a big family myself, there are plenty of beds available (bunk bed room for smaller children, twin bed room for teenager/young adults, and master bedroom for host or couples). Two of the rooms have balcony because I like balcony and I just can't imagine a vacation house without one!
