  • When it comes to sustainability
    • What does sustainability mean to you?
      • He believes sustainability is a whole, that everybody in the workforce takes part in sustaining a system. Ultimately, it is the managers and leaders that promote sustainability, but it takes everyone to maintain something in a course of action.
    • How do you implement sustainability in your life?
      • My father says he doesn't like buying luxurious things when he doesn't need to do so. He says, "Why replace something that works perfectly fine, for something that may look more aesthetically pleasing?" He values the functions of an object, rather than the aesthetics of an object, one that my mother and I, tend to overlook.
    • Where do you see sustainability in your environment?
      • At his company, they practice sustainability by utilizing the technologies they have been using for decades, and only upgrading or borrowing licensed equipment when necessary. It was not until recently, that their computers were hacked and virus'ed that they needed to wipe out everything and restart. But this cycle will repeat in a slow fashion, in which that they won't be throwing out computers like this by the month or year, but instead, decades.
