Since professor said we can use “Twisting Tower - 3 Profiles”, and step 3-4 cover also step 1-2 I simply took it, modified it and started with next steps.

1) I took the model as shown in the kickoff session and played with the shape. I deleted triangle and created a hexagonal one.

2)It took me a long time to figure out how to make it a mass and divide it into floors since I didn’t start with a template but an empty file. Then, I uploaded my tower shape into an architectural template, added floors, and divided it into mass floors.

3) I first chose the location.

4) Then I checked if it’s working properly. Next, I setup some parameters.

5) Then, by following 5.3.B.2.1 I created my flow.

6) I created my custom node by following the videos in 5.3.B.2.1. It took me a while to figure out how to put input and output values since I tried to put them with a blank code box at first.

7) At the end everything was exported to an excel file by dynamo.

8) I took the data in separate sheet and merged them together as following:

To sum up, it took a longer time than other assignments because I spent too much time at some points. However, it was fun to watch how model shapes itself and gets results at the end.
